Alice McCall is one of the fastest growing fashion designers to date, and with the launch of her new range, she has proven why her popularity is rising: she continually captures the free, bohemian style of the 60's and 70's, blending it effortlessly into ethereal, beautifully feminine modern creations.
Alice lived in London for 10 years where she worked as a successful stylist for the likes of MTV, Dazed & Confused Magazine, Natalia Imbruglia and Destiny's Child amongst others before she started designing one-off luxury silk tops and 50's style customized dresses that were sold through top London boutiques and snapped up by the likes of Kate Moss and London stylist, Katie England, to name a couple.
A chance meeting with Sarah-Jane Clarke & Heidi Middleton of Sass & Bide led Alice to play an integral role in designing for their London Fashion Week show in 2003 and New York Fashion Week in 2004.
Alice launched her namesake label in Sydney at the Mercedes Australia Fashion Week 2004.
At the end of London Fashion week in 2006 Vogue UK had this to say about the designer, “If we gave out cups at the end of Fashion Week, Alice McCall would have a hat trick: best newcomer, prettiest collection and easily the most popular girl in the class.”
McCall has a huge celeb fan club including Aussie Natalie Imbruglia, Mischa Barton and style icons Diane Kruger, Chloë Sevigny and Kate Moss.

You can only get smarter, by playing a smarter opponent..
6I voted undecided. The first dress is atrocious. The second third and fourth are ok, and the last 2 I really cant decide if I like them. They are fun and funky, but I cant see myself actually wearing them.
7They're alright. I don't think I'd wear them, though.

13I love, love, LOVE this label, but sometimes when I've seen it in the flesh the things have looked quite shoddily made. Beware before buying online!
